Here at Irish Rosettes Kennels your pet needs come first. We are a family run business and your pet becomes part of our family while they enjoy their stay with ourselves. All our rooms are substantially larger than the minimum recommendations and all rooms have access to a large exercise area and cosy, enclosed sleeping quarters.
Each room includes an internal and fully covered external run. The room is covered throughout with a special Resin Bonded Floor with a built-in anti-microbial system which inhibit bacteria growth to create a safe environment for your Dog while they are on their holidays.
Every room is fully insulated, and every dog is provided with suitable bedding (beds, blankets, cushions, vetbed etc.) so we can keep the bedding clean through regular laundering in the Kennel Kitchen. You are also more than welcome to bring along a blanket or toys etc. for your dog so they will have some of their own comforts around them during their stay. Our Kennels are for Balbriggan dogs, Swords Dogs and for pooches all over the greater Dublin area.

As well as having their own, private, much larger than average areas, dogs also have the opportunity to stretch their legs in our secure grassed exercise paddock during playtime. There is also soft relaxing background music being played throughout the day to all our guests.
We also have exclusive indoor rooms available (indoor room with indoor run) for smaller indoor dogs which are used to a house environment and are rarely outdoors (i.e. only out for walks and playtime). We can also accommodate two or more dogs (from the same household) in one of our select larger kennels so you do not have to separate them when on their holidays. Our kennels keep Swords dogs, Skerries dogs, Balbriggan dogs and canines from all over the greater Dublin area.

All dogs boarded must hold a current vaccination certificate, certified by a vet. This must show that they have been inoculated against Distemper and Hardpad plus Parvo-Virus within the last 12 months (these are your standard yearly boosters). Inoculation against Infectious Bronchitis / Bordetella (Kennel Cough) is also required, this vaccination is not an injection, it is a live vaccine which is sprayed into the dog’s nostrils and must be administered at least 2 weeks before they are due to stay with ourselves. We regret that without this no dog will be admitted into the kennels. Your vaccination certificate will need to be produced each time the dog visits.
In the unfortunate event of a dog becoming ill during their stay a veterinary surgeon is on call 7 days a week.

" We had our cat 🐱 boarding for over two months, she was so well cared for groomed etc, she came back to us a very happy calm and relaxed cat, as she was a rescue cat she was always a bit nervous, since boarding she accepts being handled more readily. I can't thank Brendan, Nancy and Jerry enough. I would highly recommend Irish Rosettes "
